Hagal entered 2022 with high ambitions and strong growth prospects. The three new hires add expertise and experience that are important in the next phase of the company’s journey.

-I am proud and humble that Hagal keeps attracting so much talent that wants to be part of our mission of building a greener future with smart batteries. We have a team with broad expertise and impressive track records, working relentlessly with the development and commercialisation of the Hagal battery systems, Ringvold says.

Software expert from Tomra

Martin Olsen joins the technical team as Senior Embedded Engineer. He worked in Tomra where he spent more than 15 years in different software development roles, the last one as software architect in Tomra Collection.

– I found the Hagal technology very exciting, and seized the opportunity to be part of the development of the products from an early stage. I have been working with green tech throughout my whole career, and want to continue making the quality products of tomorrow, Olsen explains.

Legal and sourcing expertise

Caroline Langtangen left a legal secretary position in SANDS law firm to take on the Project Administrator role in Hagal.

– Hagal is a company with high involvement in processes and decision making. Their endeavour to maximise the life of batteries with new technology intrigued me, and I am thrilled to be part of this scale-up adventure, Langtangen says.

From April 1st, Robert Westerberg enters the role as Procurement and Supply Chain Manager. He’ll be leaving Color Line where he worked in strategic sourcing. Robert will be key in professionalising Hagal sourcing activities and navigating the increasingly complex landscape of the battery supply chain.
